Event tables are nice because you can scale them and they will automatically shrink and expand (i.e. Since I wasn't using the audio table for playback, I thought this wasn't worth the CPU overhead and created my own system for drawing waveforms using event tables. I could have made it easy on myself by using an AudioTable and recording the sample data there - this is BY FAR the easiest way to display incoming waveform data, but it's also very CPU intensive to run audio tables in record mode. ![]() ![]() ![]() That's because the waveform is all stored and manipulated in core but core has no GUI. It consists of many parts all working together and I probably spent more time on those displays than I did on ANY of the audio. The one in the Effect version of beatlookup (v7.4) is actually VERY complicated. ![]()
